Most things work great! Full Suspend and Hibernate support (haven't had support for either since Feisty), Function keys work, ie screen brightess, sound etc. Wifi does not. Working on it. When I get it working, I'll check if the wifi section in the Network manager works or not as I've been using wifi-radar. Compiz works ok on the open-source ati driver. In general the system just feels a lot smoother and faster. No real complaints. &lt;BR/&gt;Love the tabs in nautilus. The open-source drivers are nice, but my system grinds to a halt after about an hour of having compiz enabled, so I'm stuck with metacity for now. If Catalyst 8.9 (release will be around 9/20) doesn't support it, Ibex might ship without proprietary driver support for the 1501.
