It will tell you what kind of media drive it is. If it only says DVD, then it is just a DVD drive. I am loving everything about it.  My hibernate doesnt work, but I dont really care about that.  I have one issue though, sometimes my touchpad kind of freaks out.  It jumps all over the place, and I had to disable the touchpad click because it would just click all over when it was jumping around. Also have ATI proprietary installed.  I can suspend and hibernate, but in both cases the system "appears" to freeze when resuming/restoring. Just click it and press Fn+F10.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Ready!!!
